As a non-profit, the Currituck County Foster & Adoptive Family Association, has very limited funding. We rely on generous donations from individuals and businesses. In the past, we had to continuously turn down donations of items that were needed for our foster children and families due to lack of storage space. In 2006, Scot Storage offered us not just one, but two climate controlled units for our use. What an incredible blessing that was! We have managed to keep the units full with donation items ranging from clothing and first night supplies, to back-to-school supplies, to beds and items that some of our teens who are heading off to college might need. Scot Storage has continued to provide these units to us at no charge, so that we can continue to serve the foster children and families in Currituck County that we support. We couldn't do it without their generosity!

Pasquotank River Yacht Club.

Hi Larry,

When the Pasquotank River Yacht Club acquired a fleet of smallboats for our training program Storage was a big problem. With the help of Larry Gaither at Scot Stor in Moyock NC we were able to store the boats in a secure building at no cost. Later when we purchased a trailer to transport the boats. Scot Stor once again helped by providing a secure place to park the trailer when not being used. Larry and Scot Stor have stepped up and helped the Yacht Club with our storage problems and helped secure these assets to our sailing program. Thank You.

Animal Lovers Assistance League, Inc.

We want you to know how much help your generous donation of the use of one of your 10' x 10' storage units has been to our non-profit Animal Lovers Assistance League, Inc. You have been kind enough to allow us to use one of your nice roomy units for six years now and still counting. I don't know what we would do without it. Our shelter is small and lacks adequate storage space. We went to our storage unit last week to remove a few items for the animals and shelter, and to store some items from our Car Show and Yard Sale.

Brothers' Keeper of the Albemarle, Inc. is a non-profit agency operating a thrift store and food pantry in the local community of Moyock, NC. Scot Storage has provided us two units for our use for over four years. The use of these units has been a blessing to the agency since we frequently need to store items for short periods of time. Since we are a non-profit, all donations are tax deductible and when items are sold, the profit helps us pay our expenses, provide jobs, and help people with their various needs.
